Northern Nevada Legal Aid (NNLA), formerly Washoe Legal Services, is a non-profit law firm founded in 1965. We provide free civil legal services to Northern Nevada’s most vulnerable residents advocating for victims of domestic violence, seniors, low-income families, children, and immigrants. What We Offer

What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist walk-in clients, visitors, and community partners in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer and route phone calls; conduct prescreens for client referrals.
- Enter and maintain client data in NNLA’s database.
- Translate and interpret (English/Spanish) for clients and staff as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, filing, and managing mail.
- Convert hard-copy files into digital data for record-keeping projects.
- Maintain organized and tidy common areas, including the front desk, lobby, and conference room.
- Cover front desk operations during scheduled breaks and lunches (two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch).
- The current Front Desk Specialist will provide reciprocal coverage for this position during breaks, lunches, or when unavailable.
- Provide intake coverage for other departments, such as the Senior Law Center, as needed.
- Support the Office Administrator and Office Manager with administrative and operational needs.

What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and databases.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Prior administrative, front desk, or client service experience preferred.
