Northern Nevada Legal Aid: From 1965 to the Present and Beyond
Since our founding in 1965, everything the team at Northern Nevada Legal Aid has done has been all about helping our community understand and access the civil justice system. We are a Nevada legal services nonprofit dedicated to providing access to justice to the most vulnerable communities in Northern Nevada — regardless of whether they have the resources to pay for legal representation.
We offer the following legal services, among others:
- Immigration legal services
- Child advocacy
- Adult guardianship
- Senior legal services
- Consumer protection
- Housing issues
- Inmate assistance
- Representation for survivors of domestic violence in protection order & family law matters
- Self help clinic for assistance with legal forms
