Pro Bono Attorney Spotlight: Pamela Everette

This month we would like to recognize Pamela Everett for her generous work with our Pro Bono Program. After many years of private practice in California, Pamela is now a Teaching Associate Professor at UNR in the School of Social Research and Justice Studies, where she teaches law-related classes including Wrongful Convictions and the Mentally Ill in The Justice System. She’s also the author of Little Shoes about a historic wrongful conviction case involving her family. She’s served as a volunteer attorney with the California Innocence Project for eleven years and began providing pro bono services to WLS in 2021. She has taken multiple CAP cases in the past year, and we are extremely grateful for her commitment to WLS and her clients.
